July 9 2012, in that exact date, I joined this community, due to Potatoes inviting me through Punchwood.com. She gave me the ip, and the link for the website. After installing Optifine and Rei’s Minimap, I joined, I spawned on a strange place named “DerpVille” It was quite empty since, I think the server went public a few days ago, I went outside the protected area, and started punching a few trees, 10 “raw” wood blocks, where enough to start my whole adventure, there where about 6 people online, and many people joined for the first time that day as well; like “Welcome lavacreeper to the server!” And other people too. I didn’t wanted to go so far of spawn, since, well I was lazy. 5×5 house, nothing special, made out of cobble and dirt. All caves where already raided, so I had to create a strip mine. I came back with a lot of goodies, in which in that period I though it was a lot 
I had a screenshot, with all my goodies, 43 iron, 21 Gold, 13 Lapis, and 10 diamonds! I went outside with a diamond sword and a pick, since there was a lava lake that I wanted to turn into obsidian. I got punched by a zombie, and took a nice lava bath. I managed to throw my goodies to solid ground, and since it wasn’t far away from spawn, I could easily get it back, when I arrived a creeper destroyed all my stuff, killing me of course.
Rage quit. I came back another day, and I noticed that everything changed, a huge tree replaced the old spawn, and the new world was named Virisia. There were also some cool new features like McMMO. A guy named OpticalAviator started following me, he gave me a golden shovel so I could claim my house. Then he magically disappeared, a few blocks away there was a guy in leather armor building a house, his name was fanmale. This guy gave me food, and some resources, so I started building my classic 5×5 hut. Then in the chat, Optical said, hey wanna go mining? I accepted his /ptp request. I found a lot of goodies. 22 diamonds, wow. Then Optical took a diamond sword, and well you know the rest. My first enemy. Later that day, another random dude joined the server, and the chat in purple words said “Welcome acelaserdart to the server!” So we started talking, and we became friends. He found a place to build his house, and of course, I helped him, the house started with an awful 10×10 sandstone outline and I though to myself -”This house is so ugly, that he will get banned due to landscape griefing”- But then he realized that the house was disgusting, so we started building a new one. The house, was perfect, and even one of the best I ever saw. I had a few snowballs and pumpkins, and well snow overload! I build a snow golem that filled the house with snow. I logged out, and went to sleep. The next day, after school, the server was very full, with about 20 people online Ace wasn’t on, so I was alone, Op was on, and I got killed by him a few times, until I managed to kill him. The chat was very active, and there was this crazy person, with the name of Annadyomene1. Her comments where joyful, and a bit crazy, and of course, with a lot of swearing, it seems that well Op made another enemy, hehehehe.
Nothing very special happened the next 10 days, many people were jailed, and well my little forest house, was now turned into a town -_- The people that where in that area were: Ajp1, fanmale, Tweeterpie, etc. Also a huge zeppelin was built, which could be seen from my roof. I don’t remember the name… Vashta Narada? The zepellin was awesome, it lead to the skylands, a very funny place, I chose south, and started making my base there. Also a new organization, named Champions, was built, the building, was a huge rectangle alternating between wood colors, and a huge C in the back, on the inside, the members were: Anna, Ace, Louis and Gamma, I joined a few days later of the creation (Anna didn’t liked that) July 26/27 something really funny was cooking, “Operation Destructocon” It was a little battle, that basically was meant to destroy Op house, and raiding hiss stuff. People were donating things like gunpowder, diamonds, flint and still, etc. Sadly, I got a little part of it, in which, well I exploded what was left from Op house. Nothing was left, except a few chest with some iron, and other stuff. Anna was jailed for this, and shared the jail with Optical, and another guy (Belarun?) Anna left the guild, leaving Ace and I in charge. He went with Op, to build on an island named Noise Island, as an apologize for the incident. Ace, left his charge as the owner of Champions, leaving me 100% percent in charge. I will call this period the Dark Age of the server, since everything was a battle, people started leaving, then this got even worse.
It was August, and 1.3 was just released, the server took a few days to update, creating a new world. When the old worlds were added, everything started to get better, and improving. Aj and Sam started a town in the new world, I got a little plot and started building the tallest building in the server, a taller version of paulsoaresjr’s Cloud Tower. Uho and Kayla (potatoes) no longer accepted fake accounts, so now the server was a desert. Operation Destructocon V.2.0 was planned, consisting of destroying Noise Island, but it didn’t worked out. Then in October, the server went Tekkit, and everything was lost.
So, this is a very very short story of my story throughout the Vainilla server, and here is the poll do you want the server to stay with Tekkit, or become what it was before? I want to play 1.5 but all the servers I go are bad, except Keralis Survival server, that one is cool. But I want to play with the first server, I felt I was in a community so, do you want to stay with Tekkit or Vainilla? Of course I vote for Vainilla.
PS: Is the server down? Or we changed tekkit?
